Pharmacies · in testing

The insurer that disputes claims, the batch that expires and the ITBIS that changes per product.

What happens in a neighbourhood pharmacy and what DUHO does about it. Built; not for sale yet.

Why “in testing”. It was built from the law and the insurers’ protocols, with no pharmacy running on it yet: we are looking for three to test it with their accountant and pharmacist before selling it.

Five things that happen in a pharmacy

What the owner says, and what DUHO does.

“The insurer disputes my claims and pays late.”Health insurers (ARS)

The insurer’s share is a payment method with its authorisation; each insurer has its receivable, its PDF claim and its payments and disputes recorded.

“I sell expiring stock without noticing.”Batches and expiry

The batch that expires first goes out first, the register warns at 30 days and does not sell what has expired.

“Exempt paracetamol and 18 % vitamins on the same invoice.”ITBIS per product

Each product states its ITBIS, the register charges the product’s rate and the 607 comes out right.

“I sell loose pills and boxes, and stock never matches.”Packs

Box, blister or unit with its factor and code; stock is always kept in the product’s unit.

“Three shifts a day and the till never balances.”Register by shift

Each shift opens and closes with its own count; what insurers paid shows separately at close.

What is missing

We find it before you do; the month is an estimate.

  • Controlled medicines Under construction · DecemberDNCD prescription, books and stock that matches (Law 50-88).
  • Preloaded catalogue and blind cash count Not planned yetToday the catalogue comes in with the move.

Do you run a pharmacy? Try it before anyone else.

Three pharmacies, their accountant and their pharmacist. Whatever they find gets fixed first.
